Japanese traditional dolls to be exhibited in Vietnam

An exhibition on Japanese traditional dolls will open in Hanoi on March 7th to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.

The exhibition will introduce a collection of more than 40 Japanese traditional dolls, such as dolls wearing kimono, and kokeshi wooden dolls made by artisan Aoki Masaru.

Before the exhibition, artisan Aoki Masaru will come to Hanoi, from February 23rd to 26th, to renew the doll collection.

Visitors interested in this artistic collection can contact the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, at 27 Quang Trung Street, Hanoi.
