Lately the streets of HCM City have been lit up with lights and flowers to welcome the coming year.
The city has planned various events to mark the occasion, decorating the streets to give a bit of extra cheer.
HCM City will focus on artistic light decoration at Park 23/9, President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Mong Bridge.
Streets including Le Duan, Dong Khoi, Nguyen Hue, Le Loi and Le Thanh Ton have already been coloured with lights.
